Sustainable Seattle Journalist: The first post

I have been interning for Sustainable Seattle for this quarter and it has been a really great experience so far.  Yet again I am writing this instead of a paper for class because I need to post an update to here so that we don't fall behind on the Cassie-train.
So my first piece was published and sent in their newsletter (it looked like this!)

Very exciting. Then this here linked to the blog on Sustainable Seattle's blog and it looked like this!

This was all very exciting but it was also stressful because the article was posted as the draft I had sent to be approved by the person I was working with, so I was very surprised and lesson learned: always send something you're okay with getting published!
